Callpanion was born from two friends who discovered something simple: sometimes, people just need someone to talk to.

Ann and Carly met working in customer service, and somewhere between solving problems and answering questions, they noticed something neither of them expected: customers kept calling back. Not about the product. Not about an issue. Just to talk.

Those conversations about grandchildren, about old memories, about the week they'd had, were some of the most meaningful ones they'd ever had at work. And it became clear: connection wasn't a side effect of good service. For many people, it was what they needed most.

So they built Callpanion. Not a hotline. Not therapy. Just two people who genuinely care, and a team that does too - showing up, week after week, one call at a time.

Who are the companions?

Our companions are carefully selected people who genuinely love conversation and connecting with others. Every companion goes through a thorough vetting process before joining Callpanion — because the person on the other end of the line deserves someone they can trust. You'll receive a short profile of your companion before your very first call, so the conversation already feels familiar from the moment they ring.

What do you talk about on the calls?

Whatever feels natural! Our calls are a space for real, unhurried conversation — sharing stories, talking about your week, reminiscing, discussing hobbies, or simply catching up. There's no script and no agenda. The only things we ask everyone to steer clear of are topics like politics, religion, medical or financial advice, and anything explicit. Everything else is fair game — our companions are genuinely curious about the people they talk to, and that's what makes every call feel different.

Are the calls private?

Absolutely. All calls are recorded solely for safety and quality purposes, and automatically deleted after 90 days. We will never share your recordings with anyone without your explicit authorization; the only exception being a legal requirement. Your stories, your conversations, and your personal information stay between you and your companion.

What happens if I need to reschedule a call?

Life happens, and we get that. Just let us know at least 48 hours in advance and we'll find a new time that works for you. If something unexpected comes up, like a health situation, a family emergency etc., reach out and tell us what happened. We handle every situation with understanding and will always do our best to accommodate you.

Can I cancel my subscription at any time?
icon

Yes, anytime. There's no long-term commitment. Just cancel at least 1 business day before your next renewal date and you won't be charged again. Your service will continue through the end of the period you've already paid for — no interruptions, no surprises.

I'm signing up on behalf of a family member. Is that okay?

Absolutely — many of our subscribers sign up for a loved one. We just ask that the person receiving the calls is aware of the service and agrees to participate, including knowing that calls are recorded. During the onboarding process, we'll walk through everything together to make sure everyone feels comfortable before the first call.
